Tour No. 1 $90.00

LOTUSLAND
Lotusland is a 37-acre botanical wonder containing extraordinary plant collections including rare cacti, cycads, aloes and euphorbias, and over 170 species of Aloes.  We will lunch at Lotusland and tour a nearby Santa Barbara estate in the afternoon.  Limited to 46 participants.

HUNTINGTON LIBRARY AND BOTANICAL GARDENS
AND LOS ANGELES COUNTY ARBORETUM & BOTANICAL GARDEN

The world-renown Huntington Botanical Gardens was started over 100 years ago.  Today it features many themed gardens, the most spectacular of which is the Desert Garden, showcasing succulents from across the globe.  We will lunch at the Huntington. 

The Los Angeles Arboretum was founded in 1947 with the purchase of 111 acres from Rancho Santa Anita.  The garden has areas dedicated to the succulent plants of the American Southwest, Madagascar, and South Africa.

Tour No. 3 $55.00 HABITAT TOUR  -  CIMA DOME
The deserts of Southern California are home to many native cacti and other succulent plants.  Our tour will bring us to the south-eastern edge of Death Valley and into Nevada to see Ferocactus,  Echinocereus, Coryphantha, Opuntia, Yucca brevifolia ssp jaegeriana (Joshua Tree), among many others.
Tour No. 4 $55.00 HOME GARDEN TOUR
Southern California has the ideal weather to grow most of the succulent plants we love in a natural, outdoor setting.  We will tour four outstanding gardens of Cactus Society members who will be on hand to give us some insight into how they developed their succulent retreats.
